What should I do to clean the washing machine?

It is easy to collect dirt inside the washing machine, such as detergent input cases, dust removal nets and drainage filters. These parts need to be removed and cleaned according to the instruction manual of the washing machine. Let's remove the dust accumulated on the uneven part of the operation panel and the lid outside the main body.
And it's important to wash the laundry tub where there are invisible bacteria and mold. Don't forget to take care of your laundry, as it may cause dark waste on your laundry when cleaning up the laundry tub.

Parts to be cleaned with a washing machine
In order to do a clean laundry, you need to clean the following parts of the washing machine.
Detergent dosing case
Garbage net
Drainage filter
Laundry tub
control panel
lid
Outside of the washing machine body
We will introduce you how to care for each.
Detergent input case, waste removal net, drainage filter
Remove the detergent case and wash it with water. There are many cases where soap scum is attached, so let's scrape it with a toothbrush. With the case removed, remove the dirt from the mouth and wipe with a squeezed cloth.

In the case of a drum type, remove the drainage filter and remove dust. As residual water may flow out, remove the container which receives the water under the condition of 下.
We turn over garbage collection net and lint filter (in the case of vertical type) and scrape out garbage and wash in water.
Operation panel, lid part, other than the main body
(※ Note) Unplug the power plug from the outlet, and work with the faucet closed.
Wipe the outside of the main unit and the control panel with a soft squeezed soft cloth. If you can not get dirty, wipe with a diluted household synthetic detergent and then wipe with water → dry.
Dust that has accumulated in the convex and concave portions of the lid is wiped off with a vacuum cleaner and then using a squeezed cloth. The back of the lid is also dirty than expected. In particular, detergent and dirt are likely to collect in the packing, so wipe with a cloth or scrub with a toothbrush.
Check the waste accumulated in the water supply port. If you leave it as it is, it will be a factor that the way of water gets worse. Remove the water supply hose once to remove dust. It is easy to remove it by holding it with a towel and rotating it slowly so that the water remaining in the hose does not splash.
Laundry tub
Take care once in 2 months using a commercially available chlorine bleach or laundry tub cleaner! If using powder soap, once a month is a guideline.
If there is a "tank washing course" in the model used, store the hot water at a temperature slightly higher than the 40-45 ° C bath in the washing tank, and start operation after adding chlorine bleach and washing tank cleaner. It becomes easy to fall off the detergent dust which is stuck.
If there is no tank cleaning course, fill the tank if it's vertical, or if it's a drum type, it's enough to prevent spills. Put chlorine bleach and "wash" operation and leave for 2 to 3 hours. After that, repeat "washing" only 3 times and finally drive on the "standard" course
Why is it good to use chlorine bleach?
There are two types of bleaches: enzyme and chlorine, and the enzyme removes strong stains by the strong foaming action of sodium percarbonate. Chlorine, on the other hand, is mainly composed of sodium hypochlorite and has a very strong bactericidal action. If you wash the tank frequently, it is OK even with the enzyme system, but chlorine is effective for measures against mold and odor in the tank.

Baking soda works on "oil stains" and "black mold"!
Baking soda is effective against mild alkaline stains such as hand-cage and oil stains. Apply a small amount of water to the cloth and wipe the outside of the body or the lid to make it shiny. It can also be used in place of a laundry tub cleaner.
How to wash the tank with baking soda
In the vertical type, fill the tank with water at 40 to 45 ° C enough to prevent spilling, and add a cup of baking soda.
Operate for about 5 minutes by "washing". If left as it is for half a day to overnight, dirt and black mold will float.
Remove any dirt that has floated, wash again for about 5 minutes, and drain. Then repeat the rinse and spin several times.
Citric acid works well for soap scum and sterilization.
Citric acid is effective in removing weak acid stains such as soap scum and hot red water. In addition, we can expect reduction of ammonia smell and bacteriostatic effect
How to wash the tank with citric acid + enzyme bleach
In the vertical type, the tank is full, and the drum type is filled with 50 ° C hot water to the extent that it does not spill, and put the specified amount of oxygen bleach. (※ Enzyme-based bleach is used to prevent the generation of non-null stains that can be generated by combining soap and citric acid)
Allow to drain for a while, add water again and add 1 cup of citric acid.
Operate for about 3 minutes by "washing". Leave for half a day to overnight.
Repeat rinsing and dewatering several times.
If the washing machine is not well-maintained, it will not only cause bacteria to get on the clothes, but it may also increase the operation time and cause poor drying. Please refer to the cleaning method introduced this time, and give care to your regular workers, with the intention of enforcing the washing machine of the worker.
